Hi cgonzal1,

The first thanks for used our product. You open the forum.kunena-min.css in the "components/com_kunena/template/nts_kfootball/css" folder and to to about line 33.
Code:
#Kunena a { color: #984807 !important; /* <-- Replace it by your color */ font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none; }

Tell me if it don't work.

this didn't work for me. the default text color is a very light gray and you can hardly see it. I have looked in the CSS style sheets but cannot find anything that looks promising. I hate to go screwing around with the CSS sheets since I don't know the language.

What variable controls the default post text? which file is it located in?

sent you a copy of the original css files via email.

I assume these are the correct ones. I am not fluent in CSS but I do know what a hex color code is and I do have a degree in computer science and was once a programmer. I know C++ so any code looks somewhat familiar. I replaced the color codes with 000000 (total black) and it had no effect on the text in the text boxes where you post things.

Perhaps there are other css sheets that are not in the css folder. Perhaps this is a problem with Joomla and not with your template. I am using Joomla 2.5. It's new but they are not going to support any of the earlier versions much longer.

thanks

ok, here is some new information that may be some sort of clue

again, using Joomla 2.5.1, Kunena 1.1, 9ThemeStore custom template, and latest Artisteer.

I created a template with a black background and light gray text.

I loaded Joomla...all OK
I loaded Kunena...All OK
I loaded the custom Kunena template from 9ThemeStore...All OK
I loaded the artisteer Template.

The Kunena Template text was light gray against it's normal white background.

I then created an Artisteer Template with a very pale green background and black text.

The text in the custom Kunena template was black also. The Artisteer text setting for the Joomla Template is being read by the Kunena Custom Template as well.

Is this a problem with Artisteer, Joomla, or a problem with the Kunena Template?
