Dark/light mode doesn't work in Joomla 5.4

Hi, 
And first of all thanks for a great admin template. 

Since Joomla 5.4 the dark/light mode doesn't seem to work in Safari. Running OSX 26.1-beta (25B5062e).

Please advice!
