Issue with editors in template Samurai

When I activate the editor CKeditor, the spell checker in the chrome browser does not work. After a right-click, no suggestion for a good word is shown. Just Ctrl+V and Paste.

This works well with the editor SCeditor.
But this editor shows very unclear icons in the oolbar.

And settings such as not showing the ebay button, for example, do not work.
They just remain visible.

Smileys are certainly not visible at all.

I want to show an editor in which the buttons are clearly visible and in which the spell checker in the browser works well in the editor.

How do I get CKeditor with spell checker working or how do I get SCeditor with more visible buttons?

Best regards,
Wouter

I know post bumping is not wanted.
But do you already have more information about my question in this topic?

Hi,
Thanks for the update.
It looks a lot better now.

But I have a question about the BBcode settings.
When I change Yes to No for buttons in the poarams of BBcode, nothing is changed at the frontend.
It works with CKeditor but it do not work with SCeditor.

Is it possible to fix that too?

Best regards,

Hi WoodyF4u,

During the testing process, I also discovered some issues with the SCeditor text editor. These issues are also present in the default aurelia template of the component (for example, you cannot insert attached files into the content of a post). We will also search for a solution to the issue you encountered. However, we still recommend using the BBcode editor until we find a solution for the problems with the SCeditor.

Kind regards,

Thank you for your message.
You probably mean that I have to temporarily use the CKeditor.

The disadvantage of the CKeditor is that it does not work well with the spell checker in the browser.
If someone mistypes a word and then wants to correct that word with a right mouse click, only Paste and Ctrl+V appear.
So there is no spelling to correct.
