How do I change the image on the left hand side?

I have included a screenshot that shows the image(s) that I would like to change.  How do I change that image to one that I would like to have there?

Also, How do I change the smaller image beside the subcategories text?  I have included 2 images one from my current website using NTS KBee and the other from my 8-year-old website, of which, the image(s) beside the Category Text has been changed. 

I no longer have the code(s) and pathways to making those changes myself, thus, my questions.

I found the answer you had left about 8 months ago, concerning the same issue.  It worked and I uploaded the images to the correct folder.

Yet, there is a light color shadow surrounding the image. I uploaded the photo I have showing that shadow effect.  How do I remove that shadow effect around the images?

Please add bellow CSS rules to the custom.css file to disable the border of icon.
Save and reload your website.
